Hot chamber and cold chamber die casting

It is also used to make metal parts for cold chamber die casting. Similar to hot chamber die casting, it comprises of filling a mold with liquid metal in order to obtain the shape. The only different here is that in this case the liquid metal, which gets solidifies as soon as it goes into die-cavity but still before filling of cavity starts. The Advantages and Disadvantages of Cold Chamber Die Casting

When the slug (metal rod) melts, it turns liquid. Once melted, Boqiao Low Pressure die cast machines the metal is injected into a mold made of steel at high speed. That mold is designed around the part you are going to make, giving your final product its specific shape. The molten metal then flows into the mold until after it has cooled, and is solid. When it is completely hard, the mold opens and you take out your finished part.
