We love making custom casting molds here at Boqiao so much we made an entire wall of special items. Casting mold is a container which can withstand hot materials. By pouring liquid metal or plastic into these molds or Gravity die casting machines, we can then produce solid objects having that shape. It is fun and very creative in a way that we can make any kind of items.
And in order to fabricate a custom casting mold of something, starting from the object we have. A pattern is a model or guide that depicts us how an outfit will appear after completion. This pattern may broken down by materials such as wood, clay or even other substances due to which it is soft and easy in procurement. After formulating the pattern, a silicone mold is made using it. The other new approach we are using is 3D-printing. This is a cool technology. We can manufacture a detailed 3D model of the object we wish to create using this process called as 3D printing which is cost-effective and does not require any tooling. We use this model to 3D print a mold, also the Low Pressure die cast machines. This sort of process is how we are able to make extremely complex and detailed castings with a very high degree of difficulty using older, more traditional methods. We get to have some of the most exciting live designs and it opens itself up for a realm of possibilities; because our creative ideas can be brought.
